Ever wondered how caffeine is removed from coffee beans?
Our Colombia Decaf coffee beans go through the Swiss Water® Process. The beans are polished and soaked in very hot water where the caffeine is agitated out of the coffee beans’ cellular material to create green coffee extract. This is then passed through a carbon filter which traps the caffeine molecules leaving only the green coffee extract. The Swiss Water® Process is certified organic and 100% chemical free.
